ALBANY, N.Y. - ECAC Hockey has announced its women’s weekly award winners, and Laura Lundblad (Quinnipiac), Danielle Serdachny (Colgate), and Marie-Pier Coulombe (Clarkson) have all been honored for the week ending February 9, 2020.
Player of the Week
Lundblad (Jr. - Ada, Mich.) tied for the league lead in scoring this weekend, registering five points on three goals and two assists. All three goals came in Saturday’s 5-1 win over RPI, as the junior tallied her first career hat trick which included the eventual game-winner. She also dished out two assists in Friday’s win over Union, helping the Bobcats pick up four ECAC Hockey points and move up in the league standings.
Rookie of the Week
Serdachny (Fr. - Edmonton, Alb.) posted a pair of multi-point games this weekend, scoring two goals against Dartmouth on Friday and dishing out a pair of assists at Harvard Saturday afternoon. Serdachny has now registered 27 points (9G, 18A) this season, which is second amongst the leagues rookie skaters, and fifth nationally.
MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Coulombe (So. - Carignan, Que.) did now allow a goal all weekend, posting a pair of shutouts to lead the Golden Knights to four ECAC Hockey points. She stopped 15 shots in a 5-0 win over Brown on Friday before making 32 saves in a 2-0 win over Yale on Saturday, helping Clarkson maintain its spot in the top four of the league standings.
