    POTSDAM, N.Y. – TJ Friedmann (St. Louis, Missouri) scored the game-tying goal in the third period to force overtime and Peter DiLiberatore (Bedford, Nova Scotia) tallied the shootout winner as the No. 10/10 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie at the No. 14/14 Clarkson Golden Knights Friday night and earned an extra point in league play with the 2-1 shootout advantage.

    Sunday was as tense a game that has been played recently between these two rivals. Clarkson got out to a strong start, outshooting SLU at one point 8-1, then the Saints got some pressure in the later half of the first period, which led to a penalty and an offensive zone faceoff for St. Lawrence with 1.5 left on the clock.

    HAMDEN, Conn. – Goaltender Keith Petruzzelli (Wilbraham, Massachusetts) picked up his third straight shutout as the No. 11/11 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team shut out the Colgate Raiders, 3-0, Sunday evening at Frank Perrotti Jr. Arena.

    Nicholas Trela gave the St. Lawrence University men's hockey team a 1-0 lead with a goal in the final second of the first period, but No. 12/13 Clarkson scored one goal in the second period and another in the third to defeat the Saints 2-1 in an ECAC Hockey contest at Appleton Arena on Sunday afternoon.

  • Saints Suffer First Loss to Colgate

    The St. Lawrence University men's hockey team responded to its first deficit of the season with goals by Kaden Pickering and Nicholas Trela in a span of just one minute and 29 seconds to take a 2-1 lead, but Colgate came back with three unanswered goals to hand the Saints their first loss of the season, 4-2, on Saturday night at Appleton Arena.

    HAMILTON – 2021 featured an unconventional start for the Colgate men's hockey program as it hosted No. 10/12 Clarkson in the ECAC Hockey opener. After the Class of 1965 Arena's Zamboni had technical difficulties, the game was delayed by 1:45 as one was brought in by neighboring Hamilton College.
